Mission Impossible: Viking Funeral - Weeks 4 & 5

Week 4 Week four was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. On one hand, the Vikings' defense looked atrocious. Even with how good the Rams are, there's no reason to ever have Barr covering star receivers deep down the field. On the other hand, the offense played out of their minds. Kirk Cousins gave the fantasy team 31.7, and Thielen and Diggs added 27.5 and 23.3 points respectively. The problem is, fantasy still requires depth to be successful. Cook, coming off of an injury, and Latavius Murray produced just 7.8 points combined. Further, Kyle Rudolph (10.7) and Laquon Treadwell (8.7) had mediocre performances, which is not great in such a talent heavy league. Speaking of not great, the Vikings D/ST. -9 Points. Negative. For a defense touted as one of the best in the NFL, that is just mind bending. In a game where the Fantasy Vikings lost by just 3.1 points, we would have won if we didn't even play a defense.
